This summer, the charming resort of Gstaad will once again host the enchanting “Saint-Tropez on Eggli” event, transforming the picturesque mountain landscape into a vibrant hub of Mediterranean elegance and entertainment. The event promises an unforgettable experience filled with music, exquisite cuisine, and exclusive wine tastings, bringing the spirit of the French Riviera to the heart of the Swiss Alps.

Musical Highlights
This year’s event boasts an impressive lineup of musical acts that will serenade guests as they enjoy the stunning alpine views. From the soothing rhythms of jazz to the lively beats of contemporary tunes, the music will be a perfect backdrop to the luxurious setting.

Exclusive Wine Tasting Experience
A special highlight of the event will be the exclusive wine-tasting session hosted by Chateau d’Esclans and Thierry Smadja. On August 16th, starting at 5 p.m, Thierry Smadja will guide guests through the world of rosé wines, offering insights into their unique flavours and characteristics. This intimate session promises to be both educational and indulgent, with reservations required due to limited space.

Gourmet Delights
The culinary offerings at Saint-Tropez on Eggli are nothing short of spectacular. The menu, carefully curated to reflect the spirit of the event, features a variety of delectable dishes. Guests can look forward to starters like Ceviche Eggli and Beef Carpaccio, sumptuous mains such as Grilled Sea Bass and Provence Lamb Kefta, and delightful desserts including Lemon Tart and Orange Givré.

Collaboration with Menuhin Festival
In addition to the Saint-Tropez festivities, the Eggli summit has also been a venue for the “Mountain Spirit” concerts, part of the Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy.
This summer, four unique concerts took place on the Eggli summit, offering breathtaking performances at over 1500 meters altitude. These included a sold-out Sunday brunch with cellists from the Gstaad Festival Orchestra and a jazzy evening with Andrej Hermlin’s Swing Dance Orchestra, evoking the glamour of New York nights from the 1930s and 40s. The lineup also featured a classical concert by the Vision String Quartet and a “Live Electronic Event” with DJ and electric violinist Seth Schwarz.

GO GO GO
Saint-Tropez on Eggli is set to be the "highpoint" of the summer season in Gstaad. Whether you’re a food lover, a wine connoisseur, or a music enthusiast, this event promises an evening of luxury and enjoyment that you won't want to miss.
