For the second time, the Gstaad Velo Classic will take place on Sunday, 15 September 2024. Join in for a delightful ride featuring exquisite refreshments in a uniquely beautiful landscape.

The route of this vintage bike event takes you through bumpy roads, scenic landscapes, and past many charming chalets. The ride is all about enjoyment, with no rankings or time measurements. However, there will be a prize for the most beautiful and authentic vintage bike and matching outfit.

Starting at the Saanen Village Square
This year, the Gstaad Velo Classic begins at the Saanen village square, heading towards Gsteig, where an early lunch snack will be enjoyed. The route then returns to Gstaad, climbing the Grubenstrasse towards Saanenmöser for the second official break with coffee and sweets. Ambitious riders can take an additional loop over the Bergmatte before this break. After the pause, the descent back to the finish line in Saanen begins, with an optional extra round to Rougemont. The day concludes with a cosy gathering over a sip of “Saane Gutsch” beer and a delicious cheesecake from Earlybeck.
