Last Friday, 28 February, the exhibition "Mountain Series" by artist Julia Scheuer was inaugurated at The Flower Shop in Gstaad. Around 60 art enthusiasts attended the opening to admire the works of the German-born artist, who is currently based between Flanders and Southampton. On the very first evening, three of the exhibited paintings found new owners.

The exhibition, running until 7 March, has a special purpose: a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Cura Children’s Foundation, a local Gstaad organisation dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children and families in Switzerland.

Julia Scheuer’s Mountain Series captures the essence of alpine life, reflecting the powerful beauty of the mountains in her artwork. The venue, The Flower Shop, known for its eclectic mix of art objects, fashion, and designer pieces, provided the perfect setting for showcasing her work. Art lovers and supporters of a good cause still have a week to visit the exhibition and experience the inspiring connection between art and social commitment.
