Maze Art Gstaad returns for its second edition
31.12.2024 Arts & CultureThe inaugural edition seems to have convinced the international exhibitors. They have all decided to return to offer their contemporary art treasures to the local audience during the winter season. Newcomers such as Pace and Marian Goodman will also join the fair, adding further depth to its offerings.
This second edition of MAZE Art Gstaad expands its artistic scope by strengthening its focus on design. It welcomes renowned names like Jacques Lacoste and Laffanour alongside the iconic Galerie Kreo. Visitors can also expect to see modern and ancient art, with notable works presented by prestigious galleries like Landau Fine Art and De Jonckheere, including a remarkable piece by Brueghel the Younger.
The fair’s partnerships remain a key highlight, with the continued support of Chanel Haute Joaillerie, the Maison Horlogère F.P.Journe, and the Phillips auction house. This trio of distinguished partners reflects the fair’s ambition to embody the essence of creative excellence.
Art Gstaad’s presence will extend beyond the main venue. At the end of the year, a sculpture parcours will be unveiled on the Promenade, featuring works by prominent artists such as François-Xavier Lalanne and Allan McCollum. Additionally, a high-profile video art program curated by Piper Marshall at the Grand Bellevue cinema in Gstaad will be presented in partnership with Particolare Swiss Alps, a film, sculpture, and video festival.
