Fondazione In Between Art Films proudly presents “Lantern With No Walls”, its inaugural exhibition showcasing works from its expansive Collection. This remarkable collection includes over 130 artist films, video installations, and single-channel works, embodying the dynamic interplay of visual storytelling and artistic innovation.

Set against the impressive backdrop of the Bernese Alps, enveloping the picturesque village of Gstaad, the exhibition delves deeply into the artistic visions that define the Fondazione’s Collection. Founded by Beatrice Bulgari, the Collection reflects her commitment to nurturing artists, scholars, and institutions exploring the expressive possibilities of moving images and the intersections between diverse artistic disciplines.

Curated by Alessandro Rabottini, Leonardo Bigazzi, and Ugolini Peverelli, “Lantern With No Walls” unfolds as a remarkable mosaic of interwoven landscapes and narratives. Antonia Crespi, founder of Tarmak22, shared her perspective on the upcoming exhibition and the meaningful connections it fosters. “This exhibition is special to me as it ties together Saanenland’s community and the broader ethos of philanthropy,” she remarked. “Their work delves into the suffering of society, expressed through art that is both intellectually stimulating and deeply empathetic,” Crespi shared. She reflected on the personal impact of collaborating with the curators, noting, “It has been an incredibly touching experience for me.”

Crespi emphasized Tarmak22’s evolving role as a hybrid space, blending institutional collaborations with non-commercial initiatives. “We’re carving a unique identity, combining museum-quality exhibitions and consistent programming with current, meaningful art.” This vision aligns with Tarmak22’s ongoing commitment to creating lasting cultural connections in the region.
