Piguet Auction 2025: The season gets off to a flying start

14.02.2025 Advertising, Business, Arts & Culture

Last week, Piguet Auction House closed the second edition of its Valentine’s Day auction, featuring a selection of luxury jewellery, watches and leather goods. With exhibitions held on their Lausanne and Geneva premises, the online bids were plentiful and far exceeded expectations!

Forever on the lookout for innovations in its sector, the company also unveiled its new website. Showing an ergonomic design targeting easier browsing, the website offers a wealth of advice and information on the personalised services available to help you buy and sell without complications or red tape. It awaits your discovery!

The spring catalogue is already in full swing, with musical instruments receiving particular attention under the expertise of Claire Piguet, director and specialist of the eponymous auction house: “I’m thrilled to present GstaadLife readers with our new sale dedicated to quartet instruments and bows. Since the creation of this department in 2023, our clients’ interest in this field has grown steadily, thanks to our successful collaboration with top-level international experts such as Pierre Guillaume and Roland Baumgartner. In a month’s time, I am delighted to invite you to discover more than 40 lots, including a very fine Italian violin by Thomas Eberle, c. 1775 (est. CHF 40 000–60 000) and several fine signed bows, including a Sartory (est. CHF 17 000–20 000) and an E.-A Ouchard (est. CHF 8000–12 000).”
