Adrien de Haller named new General Manager of Le Grand Bellevue

Le Grand Bellevue in Gstaad has announced that Adrien de Haller will become its General Manager starting this February. The Swiss national, originally from Basel, is no stranger to the hotel, having worked at its reception more than a decade ago. He returns to the region with extensive experience in the hospitality industry.

Hotel owner Daniel Koetser expressed his enthusiasm about the appointment: “I am delighted that we have found a dynamic, young General Manager with strong local ties.” De Haller’s predecessor, Fabian Nusser, is stepping down for family reasons and will return to Germany. “Fabian informed us ten months in advance, giving us ample time to find the perfect successor,” Koetser added.

A Strong Connection to the Region
De Haller’s bond with the Saanenland region runs deep. He has spent numerous family holidays there and completed his first internship in Saanenmöser, where he met his future wife. Now married with two children, he has family ties in Zweisimmen and is an alumnus of the prestigious Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne.

Since his initial role at Le Grand Bellevue, de Haller has built an impressive career. Most recently, he served as Hotel Manager of La Réserve Eden au Lac in Zurich and as Deputy Director of the Bellevue Palace in Bern. His previous positions include leading the Clinique de Montchoisi and reopening the Crans Ambassador in Crans-Montana.

Seamless Transition
De Haller will work alongside Nusser for a month to ensure a smooth handover. “Personalised hospitality is our top priority,” said Koetser. “During the transition, Adrien will have time to learn each guest’s specific preferences.”

With his experience and regional ties, de Haller’s appointment aligns with the hotel’s commitment to Swiss hospitality, catering to its predominantly Swiss clientele. His leadership marks an exciting new chapter for Le Grand Bellevue.
