The 6th Gstaad Züglete should have taken place on Saturday, 5 September. The OC was optimistic to be able to hold the event again this year in a smaller and reduced format, despite the federal restrictions. However, the latest developments and the compulsory safety measures have diminished hopes of a safe and at the same time convivial event, says the OC in a press release. In addition to the difficulties caused by the pandemic, the rather dry early summer and the occasional hail storms have caused some farmers to return from their Alps earlier than initially planned. Hence the Gstaad Züglete will not take place this year.
